Arrive at Catania Airport where you’ll be met by your driver and travel to Siracusa for a 3-night stay. Welcome dinner is included in a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Siracusa.
Breakfast in hotel. In the morning, enjoy a guided tour of the Unesco site Siracusa. After an included street food experience at the local market, you will cruise along the Ortigia Grand Harbour. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast in hotel. This morning a full day journey with our driver and tour guide takes you to discover the Baroque towns of Ragusa with its ancient Ibla disctrict and Modica, Unesco World Heritage sites. In the latter a visit to a local confectionery to sample the chocolate Modicano is included. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Taormina area. On the way you will discover Catania. You will then travel along the panoramic Cyclops Riviera to reach the fishing village of Giardini Naxos. Check in hotel, dinner and overnight Giardini Naxos.
This morning enjoy a guided tour of the historical Taormina, including the ancient Greek Theatre. Enjoy some free time in Taormina before returning to Giardini Naxos for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, explore Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe and one of the world’s most active. You will ascend to 7,000 ft and take a walk to visit the Silvestri Craters. Afterwards, you will descend to the village of Linguaglossa to visit a well-known Sicilian vineyard, where you will enjoy a wine tasting and a light lunch. Return to Giardini Naxos for dinner and overnight.
You will begin your day with a short morning drive to the medieval mountain village of Savoca. The village’s main claim to fame is its association with the Godfather film, since some scenes were shot here. a cool lemon granita (crushed-ice drink). Afterwards, you will continue to the village of Forza d’Agrò, where you will enjoy a Sicilian farewell dinner in a local tavern. Overnight stay in Giardini Naxos.
After breakfast transfer to Catania Airport for your return flight.
WESTERN SICILY
7 Days / 6 Nights
Arrive in Palermo International Airport and travel to the city for a two nights stay. Welcome dinner is included tonight at a local restaurant. Overnight in Palermo.
Breakfast in hotel. An included guided tour will help you discover the highlights of Palermo, the Sicilian capital, a true crossroads of history. After an included street food experience at the market, you will head towards Monreale to visit its Norman cathedral. Here you will also experience a mosaic demonstration. Dinner and overnight Palermo.
A wonderful journey takes you today to visit the famous Greek temple of Segesta, the hilltop town of Erice and the salt sands capital town Trapani. Lunch is included today in a typical local tavern in Erice. In the afternoon you will descend to sea level to the west coast town of Marsala where you will be staying for two nights. Dinner and overnight Marsala.
Today we begin touring Western Sicily with an included visit to Marsala. A local tour guide will take you on an orientation tour of the town followed by a visit to a winery with tasting. Then drive to the Greek archeological site of Selinunte. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own. Dinner and overnight in Marsala.
After breakfast, you will drive along the panoramic south-west coast to reach Agrigento, where you will visit the archeological site called “Valley of the Temples”. Independent lunch. This afternoon we will visit the Archaeological Museum. Dinner is included tonight at the hotel.
Today leave for Cefalù, where you will see the ruins of the Villa Romana del Casale. Later, time at leisure for lunch or shopping. This afternoon we will drive to the fishing village of Cefalù for our last night stay. This evening join the typical Sicilian passeggiata along the seafront promenade as only Sicilians do. Dinner and overnight Cefalù.
Morning transfer to Palermo Airport for your flight home.
AEOLIAN ISLANDS TOUR

Upon your arrival at Catania Airport, board your coach and transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight Catania.
After breakfast in hotel, transfer to the port of Milazzo and take the ferry to Filicudi. Then transfer to your hotel in Filicudi. Once arrived and left your luggage in hotel, enjoy a walk accompanied by your local guide. Then you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast leave for a sightseeing boat tour of Filicudi and Alicudi Islands. Today you will enjoy a wonderful experience visiting the Grotta del Bue Marino. In Alicudi have lunch at a fisherman house with fish daily fished. Then board your ferry back to Filicudi and enjoy some time at leisure. Independent dinner at a local restaurant and then return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast in hotel, you will start your full day guided excursion in Filicudi. You will move toward the prehistoric village of Capo Graziano and visit the Museum of Filicudi. Then enjoy a home restaurant lunch accompanied by traditional music. In the afternoon take the ferry to Lipari and transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight Lipari.
After breakfast in hotel, depart for a 2-hour tour of Lipari by minivan. Before lunch you will also visit the Archaeological Museum of Lipari and, in the early afternoon, you will do a guided walking tour of the historical centre of the town with its castle and cathedral. Then enjoy a private boat tour at sunset while tasting an aperitivo. Later you will pass the channel between Vulcano and Lipari and see the Grotto of the Horse. Once disembarked, have independent dinner and evening at leisure. Then return to your hotel and overnight.
After breakfast in hotel, take the ferry to Stromboli. Meet your local guide and start a sightseeing tour of the island by a three wheeler car. At the north end of the island is the Punta Labronzo observatory, a strategic location to watch the volcano eruptions and possible lava flows down the Sciara del Fuoco (literally “stream of fire”, the blackened lava scar running down Stromboli’s northern flank). You will also have a chance to visit the house of two icons in the cinema history: Roberto Rossellini and Ingrid Bergman. After that enjoy a night tour of Stromboli volcano by boat. The boat trip will take you to see Stromboli volcano from the sea and to admire its volcanic eruptions. Later you will also enjoy a special dinner called “maccheronata”. After dinner transfer to your hotel and overnight.
After breakfast in hotel, take the ferry to Milazzo in Sicily. Once disembarked, transfer to Catania. Lunch at a local restaurant and time at leisure to visit the city and to do some shopping in its handicraft shops. Dinner at the hotel and overnight.
After breakfast in hotel, transfer by private coach to the airport for your return flight.
