Upon arrival at Rome airport, be met by our local tour manager, board the coach and transfer to your hotel located in the city centre. In the morning, you’ll be visiting the Vatican with Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walking tour of the most famous squares, fountains and palaces of the baroque art (Spanish Steps,Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, etc.). After breakfast board the coach and transfer to Abruzzo. Crossing the Apennines, you will stop at the tiny village of Castelli famous for maiolica ware ceramics, where you will visit some artisans using traditional techniques. After an independent lunch you will arrive at the village of Civitella del Tronto – which will be your base for the next 2 nights. A private visit of the fortress has been arranged. There is time to stroll through the village before a welcome to Abruzzo dinner.
This morning you will discover more of Civitella del Tronto’s history. Then enjoy a private truffle hunt with local hunters. A truffle degustation lunch will follow. In the afternoon you will meet a local olive oil producer to learn all about the extra virgin and olive oils and taste his prized extra virgin olive oil. Return to your accommodation and enjoy a free evening.
Head to the Adriatic coast and stop for a coffee or a gelato at the seaside town of San Vito Chietino. Visit a Benedictine Abbey and admire the view over the Adriatic coast and the Gulf of Venus. After a seafood lunch in a panoramic local restaurant, you will head towards the Majella National Park where you will take a stroll along a mountain path with a spectacular view of the Adriatic coastline. Enjoy a welcome drink at your nearby boutique accommodation.
Today go on an excursion to some important sites in the eastern Apennines. Firstly visit the village of Palombaro. Then enjoy a short walk to Fara San Martino in the Majella National Park and visit a 9th century Benedictine monastery. During the excursion you will have lunch in a local trattoria with traditional dishes. Drive back to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
This morning transfer to Sulmona and visit the city center. Then there’s time to sample the specialties of Sulmona as we visit Confetti producers. Dinner at a local restaurant tonight and overnight Sulmona.
Today visit the medieval castle of Rocca Calascio, in the Gran Sasso National Park. Weather permitting, enjoy a picnic lunch with some local specialties paired with local wines, otherwise lunch will be served in a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit in the medieval village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio. Here you will also enjoy a farewell medieval dinner. Return to the hotel in Sulmona and overnight.
This morning transfer to Rome airport for your return flight.
ROME & SORRENTO
7 Days / 6 Nights
Upon arrival at Rome Airport, be met by our local tour manager and transfer to Rome city centre for a guided tour of the Ancient Rome (Colosseum skip-the-line tickets are included). Independent lunch during the visits. Transfer to your hotel in Rome. Check in your rooms and have some time to relax before a welcome dinner at a restaurant in Rome.
In the morning, you’ll be visiting the Vatican with Vatican Museum and the Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walking tour of the most famous squares, fountains and palaces of the Baroque art (Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, etc.). After breakfast in hotel, board the coach and depart for Sorrento, stopping on the way at Pompeii archeological site. In the afternoon transfer to Sorrento and check in your hotel. After dinner, make your way to the historic Teatro Tasso in Sorrento city centre for an evening performance of the “Sorrento Musical”, which depicts life and traditions on the Sorrentine Peninsula in the past centuries through traditional southern Italian folk songs and dances, including the Tarantella. Overnight Sorrento.
After breakfast in hotel, meet your local guide and transfer to the port where you will catch the hydrofoil to Capri. The musts while in Capri are to walk through the famous “Piazzetta” and a boat trip to the Blue Grotto. After the walking and the boat tours, return to Sorrento for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast in hotel, get ready for a tour of the Amalfi Coast. Your driver will bring you along the spectacular Amalfi Drive that brings you from Sorrento to Amalfi. Start your tour in Positano, where you’ll have some free time to take a stroll and visit some handicraft shops. Then move to Amalfi and visit the town. Return to Sorrento for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast board the bus and transfer to Naples for a guided tour of all the city highlights. At the end of the tour enjoy a traditional pizza in a pizzeria. In the afternoon return to Sorrento for dinner and overnight.

Arrival at Rome Airport and transfer to Assisi. During the trip we will make a small stop in Greccio and at the chapel of the Nativity. Lunch in restaurant. In the evening we will continue our trip to Assisi. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Breakfast in hotel. In the morning we will visit the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels and the Porziuncula. Then we will proceed with a guided walking tour of Assisi. We will visit the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi and the Basilica of Saint Clare. Independent lunch. Afternoon at disposal. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
After breakfast depart for Cascia. Here we will visit the Sanctuary and the Monastery of Saint Rita, the church of Saint Francis and the church of Saint Anthony. Lunch in restaurant. In the evening we will continue our trip to Loreto. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

After breakfast in hotel, transfer to Bari. Here we will visit the Norman-Swabian Castle and the Basilica di San Nicola. Visit also the Cathedral of San Sabino, where the relics of this saint are situated. Lunch in restaurant. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
After breakfast in hotel, transfer to Naples. Tour of the city with a local guide. We will start from Spaccanapoli and its architectural wealth. Visit to the churches: Santa Chiara, San Domenico Maggiore, San Severo, the Duomo di San Gennaro and its piazzas: Bellini, Gesù Nuovo, etc. Later we will admire the Castel Nuovo, the Royal Palace and the Teatro San Carlo. Free time to enjoy this important place of worship, attendance at the Holy Mass and participation in all the religious activities of the sanctuary.
