Welcome to Bologna, Italy! Transfer to your hotel in Bologna and meet your local guide for a full day guided tour of the city. At the end of the day, return to your hotel in Bologna, welcome dinner at a local traditional restaurant and overnight.

Breakfast in hotel. This morning, board the bus and depart for a gourmet tour in the surrounding areas. Venture out on a morning excursion to a cheese factory, where you will see all the working steps in the production of Parmigiano Reggiano. At the end of the visit, you will enjoy a glass of good, dry Lambrusco and, of course, plenty of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese tastings. Then the tour moves to see the manufacturing of prosciutto. You will also enjoy full tasting of fresh slices of prosciutto di Modena D.O.P in a combination with some nice Lambrusco wine. The next stop will be an authentic Italian lunch in a countryside original trattoria or in a certified organic winery, where you will experience the famous Italian light lunch, multi-course gourmet lunch with local specialties paired with local wines. Return to the hotel, free evening and overnight.

Breakfast in hotel. This morning board the bus and transfer to the world-famous  Motorvalley! Your first stop will be Maranello to visit the Ferrari Gallery and Museum. Then the tour moves to an “acetaia” to see the secrets of the famous Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena D.O.P. A tasting will follow. Now you will continue to Sant’Agata Bolognese for a visit to the Lamborghini factory. At the end of the visits, enjoy a traditional lunch at a local osteria. Return to the hotel, free evening and overnight.

Breakfast in hotel. This morning explore Fico Eataly World  Fabbrica Italiana Contadina, an exhibition of the whole Italian agricultural and culinary tradition. In the afternoon live a cooking experience at a farmhouse in the Bologna countryside. After the lesson, sit down to enjoy your meal of fresh pasta and sauce accompanied by wine. Return to your hotel dinner and overnight.

Breakfast in hotel. This morning leave your hotel in Bologna and board the coach. Your first stop will be Comacchio in the Po Delta Park. Enjoy a cruise along the branches of the delta and sight many species of water birds that take refuge here. A seafood meal will be served. In the afternoon visit Ravenna and its mosaics. Later continue on to Rimini and check in your hotel. Dinner and overnight Rimini.

This morning sample the sights of UNESCO-listed San Marino. Have a walking tour of Piazza della Libertà, the main square, and head up to the medieval First Tower. Then you will have the chance to spend some time in the fashion stores and boutiques this ancient Republic is also famous for. In the afternoon, discover Rimini following the steps of the famous film director Federico Fellini. Farewell dinner tonight at an authentic style restaurant and overnight Rimini.

After breakfast transfer to Bologna Airport for your return flight.

Upon your arrival at Bologna Airport, transfer to your hotel centrally located in Bologna. Welcome drink at the hotel or a nearby bar and overnight Bologna.

Breakfast in hotel. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the city. Meet your guide and see Bologna’s main historical sites and vibrant markets during a 2-hour walking tour. In the afternoon enjoy a lesson to discover the secret of making fresh and delicious pasta. Enjoy making tortellini, fresh dough and tagliatelle with the expert “Sfogline”, Bolognese women specialized in the fresh pasta making. After the class, to complete the experience, you will taste what you’ve created for dinner. Breakfast in hotel. This morning depart Bologna and the Emilia Romagna region for the Marche, stopping in San Marino for a visit. Then continue to Urbino, one of the cultural capitals of the Renaissance. After a guided tour of this important university town, check in your accommodation in the Urbino area, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in hotel get ready to discover the Frasassi Caves. Then transfer to the coast south of Ancona and enjoy some time on the Conero Riviera. You will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant tasting traditional dishes. In the afternoon continue to Ascoli Piceno and check in your hotel. Free evening and overnight Ascoli Piceno.

After breakfast meet your local guide and visit the town of Ascoli Piceno. At the end of the tour take the chance to taste the typical Ascoli olives: delicious fried olives stuffed with meat. In the afternoon transfer to Offida where you will have a winery visit and after you will start a complete wine tasting combined with regional typical products, such as fried olives, moscioli, ham, cheese and bread. Return to the hotel in Ascoli Piceno for a free evening and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you will depart the Marche region for Apulia. Your first stop will be Castel del Monte to visit its important medieval castle. After the castle sightseeing you will reach Andria, where you will taste the characteristic “burrata” cheese. Check in your accommodation in the Alberobello area, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast transfer to Altamura. After a walking tour of the town you will stop in a bakery to taste the famous bread of Altamura. At last you will taste the “focaccia” stuffed with cherry tomatoes and olives, the wine-favored “taralli”, the typical “friselle” and a local type of pasta called “mostaccioli”. Afterwards we will head to Matera, the so-called town of “Sassi” (stones). After the town sightseeing, return to your accommodation in the Alberobello area for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast. This morning go visit Alberobello, protected as international heritage by Unesco for its trulli houses. Then, continue on to Ostuni and have a tour of this medieval town. Your journey continues to Cisternino, where you will have dinner in a typical “vuccerìa”, little butcheries offering genuine meat according to the local tradition to be char-grilled. Return to your accommodation in the Alberobello area for overnight.

After breakfast in hotel transfer to Bari Airport for your return flight.

Breakfast in hotel. An early morning departure today to La Spezia for a full day excursion to the Cinque Terre. Take the train from La Spezia to Riomaggiore and walk along the panoramic footpath. After some free time, meet you tour guide and take the train to Monterosso, where your guide will make you explore the old town. Typical lunch at a local restaurant. In the early afternoon take the train to Vernazza and explore this old village. After some free time and maybe a gelato, take the train to Manarola and enjoy a stroll along its narrow streets. Return to La Spezia by train and then to hotel by bus. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast. In the early morning transfer to Sant’Agata Feltria to go truffle hunting in the woods. Then transfer to the small village and visit a truffle boutique with a truffle tasting. Lunch at traditional osteria with tasty truffle menu. In the late afternoon return to your hotel and have some free time to relax. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast in hotel and departure for a guided tour of Ravenna, which preserves an extraordinary historical evidence of the Byzantine culture and civilization in Italy.
Visit of: Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, whose wall mosaics are the most ancient in Ravenna, Neonian Baptistery, the most ancient late-imperial monument in Ravenna, the Basilica of Saint Apollinaris Nuovo, originally built as Arian temple and then consecrated to Catholicism, and Mausoleum of Theoderic, erected by King Theoderic himself.

In the afternoon, continuation with guided visit of the Basilica of Saint Apollinaris in Classe, which has been declared UNESCO World Heritage. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Breakfast in hotel. Departure to Ferrara, former location of the Estensi court, undisputed protagonist of the Renaissance era. Visit of the famous palaces of the city, including Schifanoia Palace, Marfisa d’Este Palace and the Palace of Diamonds, now home to the Modern Art Gallery. Unmissable stop at the magnificent Este Castle, symbol of the city, and the Jewish Quarter with its three synagogues.
Continuation to Gorino and embarkation for an excursion in the Po Delta by motorboat.
Short stop at Pomposa Abbey, famous for its medieval frescos, its mosaics and its splendid bell tower.
Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Breakfast in hotel. Departure to San Marino, the oldest republic in the world and the third smallest country in Europe, which is located on Mount Titano. Visit of the historical center. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, departure to Rimini. Guided tour of the historical center: the Arch of Augustus, one of the most ancient survived Roman arches, the Renaissance Malatesta Temple and the Roman amphitheater, which is the only one left in Emilia-Romagna.
Walking through Cavour Square, center of the city where Arengo Palace, Podestà Palace and the Municipal Palace align, you will reach Tiberius Bridge, an imposing Roman architectural work which represents one of the most important Roman bridges left.

After breakfast, free morning dedicated to the visit of the most famous amusement parks in the region: Mirabilandia, Cattolica Aquarium, Aviation Park, Italia in Minatura and Oltremare.

Arrival in Rimini, hotel accommodation and lunch. In the afternoon, visit of the amusement park “Italia in Miniatura”, where it will be possible to admire over 270 perfect miniature reproductions of the main Italian and European monuments.

After breakfast at the hotel, departure to visit Cattolica park “Le Navi”: a large square will welcome visitors who, proceeding towards the “Flagship”, will begin their journey through time, from the Big Bang to the formation of an environment in which seas and oceans play a fundamental role. After the time travel, a marine biological laboratory, located inside the “Ships of the West and the East”, will allow visitors to see different marine environments of the coast and the fauna and flora that live in the abyss.
Eventually, inside the “Mistral Ship”, an anthropological laboratory will allow visitors to learn about the main archaeological finds in the seas of the world.
Lunch. In the afternoon, visit of “Oltremare”, situated on Riccione hills, which combines environmental awareness and preservation with a funny and entertaining offer.

After breakfast, visit of the Aviation Museum. The Aviation Theme Park, inaugurated in 1995, with 100,000 square meters of exhibition space and over 50 aircrafts on display is the greatest structure of this kind in Italy and one of the largest in Europe. Its particular location on a hilly slope surrounded by greenery makes it pleasant to visit in all seasons.
